Sarah Gee is an artist and illustrator based on the land of the Kombumerri families of the Yugambeh language region, Gold Coast.

She creates colourful illustrations, felted sculptures and paintings inspired by flora and fauna, with a current focus on local native and endangered insect species.

Currently in residence at Helensvale Library and Cultural Centre*, Sarah’s studio-based practice is grounded in storytelling, exploring the organic shapes, patterns and textures found in nature. In producing her artworks, Sarah hopes to bring joy for viewers, spark curiosity and encourage care for our natural environment.

Portfolio coming soon.
